In his role, Rand will lead engineering and product development operations. He will oversee development, quality, and infrastructure for the Banyan platform, while ensuring the engineering team is content, effective and delivering on all business commitments.

Colin Rand has more than two decades of engineering leadership and product development experience. Most recently, Rand helped transform Delphix from an on-premise data management appliance to create their first SaaS offering with an integrated product strategy to create a hybrid platform. Rand also previously served as VP of platform and chief architect for Lookout, a BeyondCorp mobile security company, where he led the platform initiative, managing data, identity, and security services for ML-based mobile threat protection. In his career, Rand has held a variety of executive and leadership roles at a wide range of enterprise startups to late-stage and enterprise companies including Salesforce, AKQA, and Anomaly.
